ABOUT ME

Hi I’m Michelle, thanks for being here. Yoga has been a huge part of my life since my late twenties and it’s my absolute passion to share all that I’ve learnt along the way.

The more I practice and teach, the more I realise that we are all individuals. We all have our own unique perspective and view of the world. What works for one person is never universal. A really fun part of life is figuring out what works for you. It’s for this reason that I share what I do.

The way I teach is incredibly invitational and rooted in yoga philosophy. I ask you to tune in to yourself; your body, your heart, your mind, your energy levels on any given day and choose what to engage with.

My classes generally have an underlying philosophical theme or intent and within that framework is plenty of space for you to honour your individuality and explore how it feels for you that day. If we are working 1-2-1, it’s a constant conversation back and forth to ensure you are getting the most out of our time together and finding what works for you.

I believe that yoga is a practice everyone can benefit from no matter who you are.

If you’re someone who likes to explore and figure out what works for you, if you’re someone who rejects dogma and the “my way or the highway” approach, I’ve got you.

If you’ve tried yoga in the past but felt that it didn’t fit you, I promise it’s not the yoga but the way it’s delivered.

If you’re not local and can’t make it to in person yoga in Plymouth, please don’t worry, I teach online as well!

You can hear more from me, obligation free by signing up to my Substack (coming soon).

Training & CPD

Following my first 200hr training I have gone on to complete two separate 300hr courses and many other trainings in Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Accessible Yoga, Chair Yoga and Yoga Philosophy. I support the idea of mentoring for yoga teachers and have undertaken many courses as the mentee as well as offering mentorship to new teachers.

I would like to thank my teachers past and present:
Alexandria Crow, Melanie Cooper, Jennie Wadsten Sharma, Gingi Lee, Norman Blair, Amy Ippoliti and Amanda Dee Smith.
